God’s people need to fellowship
mingling with new friends
in cultivating old ones too
all Christians need to blend

for there is strength in these numbers
compassion it is great
the comfort flows from other folks
of whom you can relate
____
and whenever two or more join
as touching anything
the Lord will be amid His church
gladly interceding
____
by joining prayer to our Father
oft times we sense the power
beseeching God with one accord
will make the devil cower
____
but most of all Christ’s love is found
He dwells within each one
expressing best as who God is
the Father Spirit Son
____
do not forsake this gathering
as God intends to move
His body needs to work His will
through servants who are true
____
be wary of the enemy
he’ll steal kill and destroy
for no believer stands alone
through fellowship comes joy
